How AndroGel works
AndroGel contains testosterone, which is absorbed through the skin and helps restore your T levels to normal range. The testosterone in AndroGel is the same that your body makes naturally.

Remember, AndroGel is not a cure for Low T. It's a gel that you must use routinely, as you would take a daily medication.

Continue your treatment every day
If you stick with daily AndroGel treatment, you can keep your testosterone at a normal level. Here are the results from the clinical trials.

Chart

Clinical trials were held with over 200 patients. Once blood levels were restored, the results showed that most men on AndroGel had improvements in mood and sexual function within 1 month, more muscle mass and decreased body fat within 3 months, and increased bone strength within 6 months.*

With continued daily use of AndroGel you may find that you are in a better mood, feeling more energetic, and have a better sex drive and stronger erections. Even if you see symptom improvements while using AndroGel, don't stop using it or your T levels will fall below normal in just 5 days and your symptoms may come back.

Be sure to refill your prescription every month. And remember to talk to your doctor about how you're feeling while using AndroGel.

*With 10 grams of AndroGel

AndroGel is indicated for replacement therapy in males for conditions associated with a deficiency or absence of endogenous testosterone.

Safety information: AndroGel must not be used by women. You should not use AndroGel if you have any of these conditions:

  • Prostate cancer (if your doctor knows for sure that you have it or thinks you may)
  • Breast cancer (a rare condition for men)

Warning: Elderly patients treated with androgens may be at an increased risk for the development of an enlarged prostate and prostate cancer.

The most frequent adverse events reported by ≥5% of patients associated with the consistent use of AndroGel included abnormal lab test, acne, prostate disorder, and application site reaction.

Remember, the information on this website does not take the place of the advice you get from your doctor or other health care professional. Always talk with your doctor if you have questions about AndroGel.
